American Energy Partners, Inc. (AEPI) is one of several companies that have been formed over the last fourteen years as part of the Eckard Companies organization. The firm manages and identifies oil and gas exploration opportunities, bringing together its private investor base with industry partners in search of domestic reserves.
AEPI has spent over a decade to develop industry contacts and asset holdings that provide the firm with diversified opportunities, while allocating its resources on state of the art technology in prospect generation, drilling and completion techniques. AEPI has been a working interest Partner in over 350 wells in the last ten years and has drilled in excess of 1,500,000’ of vertical hole.
Current market conditions in the oil and gas industry are such that exploration companies generally cannot find enough quality prospects to satisfy their need to identify, acquire, test and develop reserves. AEPI continues to stay ahead of the curve in this competitive industry. In 2005, the company committed to reprocessing approximately fifty-six individual 3-D seismic data sets, which contained over 2,000 square miles of 3-D seismic data. This massive library was assembled through seismic data exchanges, acquiring new proprietary 3-D seismic data surveys and underwriting arrangements with exploration companies.
AEPI is a mature, well-managed and experienced exploration company. It can and does react swiftly to each opportunity that is presented for consideration. Through skill and experience AEPI is able to make a calculated decision in order to minimize risk and maximize opportunity.
